Dr. Makhani was away when I had a gum infection which required emergency treatment. Shaleeza Makhani, his daughter, was able to see me straight away, prescribed antibiotics which cleared the problem, and saw me for a follow-up.

I was an extremely nervous patient, having had some very difficult experiences with a previous dentists. My teeth were In urgent need of attention having been neglected for so long. From arrival at Garden View Dentist it was a whole new experience.Dr Makhani was calming and professional and set out a complete treatment plan for me, which included, the hygienist, fillings, X-rays, extraction of my front tooth and a maryland bridge fitted, most of which filled me with fear, but I needn't have worried as the whole treatment plan went seamlessly with amazing care, attention to detail and professional kindness, my smile has returned thanks to Dr Makhani and his staff. I've received amazing service from start to finish

I have just completed treatment to straighten my teeth which has been miraculous - only 7 months from start to finish and I can't believe they are my teeth!! The fixed braces were hardly noticed by friends and family and the information and what to expect given by all at Garden View allayed all the concerns I had. As I live in the Channel Islands, monthly appointments were arranged to fit in with me for the braces to be tightened and were easily rearranged as and when required. The whitening treatment has also worked extremely well.

I have entrusted Dr Makhani with my teeth for over 22 years. He is continually updating his expertise enabling him to carry out many forms of dentistry (both complex or routine), using the latest techniques and technology. The surgery is a very relaxed environment and you feel the team are family rather than work colleagues and go out of their way to answer questions or to make you feel at ease.

It is also extremely helpful to be able to see the hygienist either before or after an appointment with Dr Makhani rather than having to return on a different day.

The highly professional team at Garden View Dental look after the dental care of my husband and I brilliantly well. They have an extensive range of treatments available but also have close relationship links with other key dental professionals when other services are necessary; such a having orthodontics treatment. Last week my daughter broke both front teeth in an accident at school. Dr Makhani was able to see her straight away and calmly and gently treated a somewhat nervous 7 year old and reassured a very frantic Mum. We received amazing care which was followed up by a call to see how we were getting on a day later.

Dr Makhani has been mine and my children's dentist for 28 years, I have always been delighted with the service provided, he genuinely cares about his patients and his work is excellent. Absolutely the best dentist I have ever found. I had a broken crown with little of the original tooth left, which had broken away with the old crown. I feared I might have to have an implant.

I was given an immediate appointment in a tight and busy schedule with Dr Makhani that same day. He explained the treatment needed, took impressions, then fitted a temporary crown. (it looked better than the original crown fitted by my previous dentist.)

From that first appointment the care and treatment was fantastic. Dr Makhani is so skilful, there was very little of the original tooth left to fit a new porcelain crown to.

Very importantly Dr Makhani spent a lot of care and time getting the bite correct and comfortable. It now looks and feels perfect. I would highly recommend Dr Makhani and Garden View; such a caring, skilful and professional team.

A bad experience with an orthodontist at another local practice had left several of my teeth disfigured. I had a number of follow-up procedures with different dentists, but it was only when I came to Garden View as my regular dental practice that Dr Makhani undertook the excellent restorative work, with great attention to detail, that has finally sorted out the problem. I went to Dr Makhani for second opinion . I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and following an operation, I have planned chemotherapy booked in a week's time. I was very anxious and concerned as any complications with my dental treatment would delay my chemotherapy. Dr Makhani consulted with other colleagues and my oncologist. As a first time patient and an emergency with tooth pain, I was treated with compassion and professionalism. My treatment was carried out swiftly to save my anxiety within 2 days. I was given reassurance at all stages. As a cancer patient, I felt I was in the best hands and would not hesitate to recommend Garden View Dental Practice.

A very different dentist experience to what I have had recently. At the surgery the dentist, nurse and receptionist cannot do enough to accommodate you and they managed to fit me in on a tight timescale around my available hours. It's the first dentist where I feel as though they aren't just trying to get money out of you - they genuinely want to help you with your teeth and being the best that they can be. Mr Makhani was calm and understanding (I'm not a great patient!) and I will most certainly be back. I had the zoom whitening and a small filling - my teeth are several shades lighter and I'm really happy.

If you can't stand dentists, you should come here - I travel from central London as I trust them so much.

Very informative first appointment for me and my 3 children, great advice on brushing and flossing, newer methods and it seems to have really hit home with them and they are continuing with their suggestions. The staff were very friendly to the kids and put everyone at ease in the dreaded dentists chair!

For me they recommended an amazing alternative to braces to sort out just 2 or 3 teeth which were not straight. They booked me in as soon as possible and I had the immediate, painless, much cheaper procedure as soon as they could do it. Fantastic results. If you are looking for a new dentist then look no further ....... Garden View Dental and Dr Makhani is the one for you! I am an extremely nervous patient and I cannot praise Dr Makhani and his team highly enough for the treatment I received last week when I had to have a crown. I was even telephoned the following day to make sure I was OK - never had that before. Everything was explained to me before and during my treatment and they certainly put me at ease. I can't say that I will ever truly enjoy any visit to the dentist, but at least I know that I will be looked after by Garden View in future and I certainly won't be as nervous!!

I switched dentists about a month ago, purely because I felt I was being overcharged (in a very nice way) by a dental practice which had looked after me for thirty years. Their prices were going through the roof --- and not the roof of my mouth.

Dr Makhani and his superb team of people have been a revelation! Charming, courteous, technically brilliant. I cannot recommend this clinic more highly. Dr Makhani has been my dentist for over 20 years and has always provided state-of-the-art dental treatment and exemplary care. Recently I had a zoom treatment (highly recommended as this really works to whiten teeth!) and veneers (also highly recommended if you want that perfect smile!). The dental technology used today, the excellent and professional before and aftercare from an experienced, dedicated and sympathetic team at Gardenview Dental Care meant that this was not at all an unpleasant experience. Every single attention was paid to detail by Dr Makhani and his team to ensure that I had the right veneers to suit me - I cannot thank them enough.

Following a tooth extraction, Dr Makhani explained the various options available to me. I decided upon an implant and I had a few initial X-rays to ensure suitability. Dr Makhani then described the stages of an implant which would be over a few weeks and the cost involved. I decided to go ahead with the implant and the procedure was carried out at the pleasant, modern, well equipped surgery at Beaconsfield. The first part, inserting the screw was a lengthy process and Dr Makhani and his staff were very attentive to ensure I was comfortable and in as little pain as possible. It was in fact totally pain-free. The few days following, there was a little discomfort due to some stitches, which were removed a couple of weeks later. There were various checks to monitor the healing of the area and then a mould taken of the mouth for the crown. Finally the crown was inserted into the implant. It fits perfectly with surrounding teeth and the bite is good. It is impossible to differentiate from the tooth it replaced. My implant was fairly straight forward, but I did have the comfort of knowing if there was any problem, I could phone at any time to discuss. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Makhani to anyone wishing a tooth implant. I feel I was very lucky to have Dr Makhani perform this procedure. Many thanks.

I have been extremely satisfied with all treatments received at this clinic. I have recently had my teeth whitened and because they were very discoloured to start with, due to use tetracycline when I was a child, I was not that hopeful. However, with use of trays with bleach first, then the ZOOM treatment, my teeth are much improved! I would very much recommend ZOOM. All staff at Garden View are very professional, kind and helpful. My family and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for dental treatment.
