Dr Makhani will place a protective barrier over your lips and gums and will apply teeth whitening gel to your teeth. A special light is used to activate the gel and all you need to do is sit back and relax for an hour while the gel gets to work. The result will be teeth several shades brighter – whiter teeth in just one hour really is possible!

2 Home teeth whitening

Home whitening also uses special whitening gel to lighten the colour of your teeth and remove stains, but is carried out in the comfort of your own home. Dr Makhani will take impressions of your mouth to create bespoke whitening trays. When these are ready you will be instructed on how to use them: you place a small amount of whitening gel in the trays and wear them overnight or for short periods during the day for approximately two weeks.
